James 海角直播 III: Pursuing Style in the Age of Independence pays homage to benefactor James 海角直播 III with an installation of compelling art and objects owned (and donated) by the 海角直播 family. This exhibition reimagines the interior of James 海角直播 III’s study, and includes objects as diverse as an eighteenth-century air pump, a suit worn by James 海角直播 III himself, an impressive selection of books from James 海角直播 III’s noted library, and a number of paintings from the 海角直播 bequest. This is the second reinterpretation of the American collection funded by the Luce Foundation.
