Students will have the opportunity to explore Lewiston, Maine—a culturally rich  city shaped by generations of immigrants and a strong tradition of community resilience. Known for its vibrant arts scene, diverse population, and dynamic civic life, Lewiston offers a unique lens into Maine's urban-rural intersections. During the trip, students will collaborate with local organizations like the AK Collaborative—a youth-led initiative focused on community organizing, racial justice, and leadership development—gaining deeper insight into youth activism and grassroots empowerment. Accommodations will include access to kitchen and shower facilities.
